በዓላማ ሳይሆን በዘር ተደራጅቶ ለአሥራ ስድስት ዓመታት በኘሮፈሰር በየነ ጴጥሮስ መሪነት ሲንቀሳቀስ የቆየው 14 ጎሳዎች በአባልነት የሚገኙበት የደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ ሕዝቦች ሕብረት በሚል ስያሜ የሚጠራው የጎሳ ፖርቲ በአሁኑ ወቅት ሊሞት እንደሚያጣጥር ውስጥ አዋቂ ምንጮች ገልጸዋል፡፡

   እንደ ውስጥ አዋቂ ምንጮች አገላለፅ ፖርቲው አሥራ ስድስት ዓመታት ፈጽሞ ጠቅላላ ጉባዔ ያላካሔደ ከመሆኑም በላይ ኘሮፈሰሩ ከፖርቲው ይልቅ ራሳቸውን አገዝፈው ለማሳየት የሚያደርጉት ጥረት ፖርቲውን ለዚህ ውድቀት እንደዳረገው ተመልክቷል፡፡

    በዚህ ምክንያት በአሁኑ ወቅት አንዳንድ የሕብረቱ አባል ጎሳዎች ሕብረቱን ለቅቀው የወጡ ሲሆን ሌሎችም ለመውጣት እየተዘጋጁ መሆናቸውን የመረጃ ምንጮቻችን አክለው አስረድተዋል፡፡

    ግለሰቡ በ1988 ዓ/ም ተቋቁሞ አንዳች ቁም ነገር ያልሰራውን አማራጭ ኃይሎች የተባለውን ስብስብ ሲመሩ የቆዩ ሲሆን፣ ሰብስቡ በአሁኑ ወቅት ሕልውናው በራሱ ጊዜ በመክሰሙ የምስክር ወረቀቱን ወስደው ለምርጫ ቦርድ መመለሳቸውንም ከውስጥ አዋቂ ምንጮች ለማወቅ ተችሏል፡፡

I find this article very illogical. Prof. Beyene might have worked to please the current regime, but he is a man who loves his country, unlike the writer of this article, the professor is currently working IN Ethiopia for the betterment of the country, by educating the youth. The education policy might not be that much applauded, but still people are getting education...Please be objective as much as possible when critizing someone.
