I know this kind of government was without base support but as a lesser of two evils, which started from scratch could not stand without finacial support for its extensive seurity services, Agazian forces, the Military service and adminstration without extensive support from the donor countries only to suppress its own populace at the gun point and to fight terrorism, in which terrorism includes libration movements. 25-30 billion in aid is third in line, from Israel and Egypt of American tax payers dollars, where at least Israel is using it to stave off aggression from hostile mouslim nations threatening its existence. I canot not fathom what the current regime has allocated this budget for: is it to maintain its territorial integrity to fight lbration movements, is to fight against perceived invasion by Somalia, is it to fight trrorism , is it for budget support and/or for perpetual border dispute with Eritrean regime, which was nothing than a province which was granted independence by the current regime. The Emperror Haile sellassie government had never received a fraction of the 25- 30 billion dollars, I presume. What disheartening is the this proxy and dictatorial rule is supported by the the teletafi paties and loal opposition parties of the likes of Lidetu Ayalew, prof Beyne Petros,etc. and now the dissidendt party of UDJP, Ginbot 7, a split of Kinjit seem to advance the proxy rule. It is only adding insult to an injury, if the current government is govrnment is forced to be replaced by moderate TPLF group and UDJP with outside help and the diaspora.
